Homeowners

What We Do

We provide homeowners with safe and knowledgeable first responders to their tree-related emergencies.

We deliver comprehensive emergency tree services, including tree removal, temporary roof tarp, and board up, in the wake of severe weather events or daily occurrences where an insurance claim is involved or is otherwise deemed an emergency.

WHY CHOOSE TIMBER WARRIORS?

Say a tree fell on your roof, garage, shed, or car, and you call your insurance to let them know so they can write up a claim. Next, you’ll need to find an arborist that can properly clean up the mess.

But wouldn’t it be nice if they also communicated directly with your adjuster so that you don’t have to play messenger? Wouldn’t it be nice if they knew how to translate your policy information into the appropriate services? And if you received updates without having to call in to inquire?

What if, before they left, they protected your home from the elements by installing a temporary roof tarp?

That’s where we come in.

What To Expect

BEFORE

Let us know about your incident – or claim, if you already have it – and we will respond to you, remove the tree and tarp and/or board up if necessary, then bill your insurance company (our Partner) the pre-arranged, agreed-upon rate.

It’s important that you understand your policy and the financial limits, not just us. Typically, policies cover the removal of fallen branches up to the stump.

In instances where there may be services you need (or want), yet your policy does not cover, we will send the ‘remaining due’ bill to you. If at any time you have a concern about what your policy covers, you should talk with your adjuster.

DURING

Once we receive information about your incident and exchange brief agreement contracts, we will assign one of our Members to the job. Not only are we selecting from a group of highly-vetted, certified, licensed, and insured arborists, but we will be choosing the Member that is closest to you or has the quickest response time.

Don’t worry; before they arrive, we would have already notified them of your tree emergency and insurance policy coverage. So, they will know what to expect, the equipment best suited for the job, and how to work in a way that will keep your insurance company happy.

While our Member is working, we’ll be sending you updates (such as the estimated time of job completion) via our mobile app.

AFTER

As our time with you starts to wrap up, we will ask you to complete an audit. Basically, it is a questionnaire/quality-assurance form that your insurance company requires you and us (Timber Warriors) to complete. But while you’re in the spirit of giving feedback, we really would appreciate it if you gave us the feedback we need in order to keep doing what we’re doing.

By now you would have already discussed the payment game plan with your adjuster. It varies from company to company, but it’s possible that instead of sending a check directly to us, your insurance could send it to you, expecting you to then forward it to us. It’s nothing unusual, just an extra step.

Again, it’s important that you understand your policy and the financial limits set for tree services. If you are concerned about your policy, it’s best that you talk with your adjuster.
