Homeowners

Q: What does Timber Warriors do?

A: We help homeowners and communities with their tree emergencies and/or tree claims. We work with insurance companies, municipalities, and government agencies to deliver comprehensive services in 49 states through our Member Network; which means it's possible that you've heard of us from your adjuster.

Q: Why am I using Timber Warriors, a nationwide company for my tree claim?

A: Most importantly, we prevent homeowners from falling victim to door-knockers. Poor, inexperienced, and unlicensed crews come out of the woodworks during someone's time of need; and most homeowners do not know how to identify these crooks. We come from an arboriculture background, so we know a professional when we see one. We know the arboriculture industry.
If you find a legitimate company nearby, it's possible that they have not worked an insurance claim before, which means they do not know what your adjuster needs to get his or her job done, close the claim, and cover whatever costs (or services) your policy allows.
But here's the best part: we have crews from our Member Network that are near you! They have been vetted by us and understand what they need to do to fulfill your claim.

Q: Who pays Timber Warriors?

A: Your insurance company will pay Timber Warriors directly; they will pay only for the services (or costs) your policy allows. If you have any questions about your insurance policy, what is covered, or if there will have any out-of-pocket costs, you should speak with your adjuster.

Q: Do I need to have my adjuster look at the tree and any damage before Timber Warriors comes out?

A: There is no need! During our first conversation, one of our representatives will ask you to send in photos from various distances and angles. We rely on the clear photos you send in, as well as the photos our Members will send, to communicate with your adjuster. The best photos you can send us are: entire front of house, entire back of house, location of tree taken from a distance and from various angles, area of impact taken from a distance and up close, damaged areas due to impact taken up close and from various angles. Typically, this results in approximately 10 photos.

Q: Do I have to be present while Timber Warriors is working?

A: You are welcome to, but it is not necessary. If you would like to be present, we ask that it is safe for you to do so and that you are not in the crew's workspace - for your safety, and theirs.

Q: How will I know when the crew is on their way, starts the job, and completes the job?

A: It's all done through our mobile app! In addition to being notified of the crew's estimated time of arrival, you will also receive a notification when the crew arrives and when the job is complete. Any important documentation that you need from us (or we need from you) will also be available to you through the Timber Warriors app.
